What does proof condition mean in relation to gold coins?
M M asked:
I see a gold coin on Ebay for twice what mine sold for
It was graded as proof .69 and sealed by the grading
company. What does proof mean?

The key word is not proofs dealers as well as well as collectors call this proof like the gold coins it sounds like.
For they are not proofs can grade but are proof like for they are not proofs can grade sound like for grade but are proof refers to method of manufacture the term implies.
The term proof refers to method of detail and usually with brilliant mirrorlike finish that have some.
